My View on The Craze of Pursuing Graduate Studies

In recentyears, there is an increasing number of college or university students go topursue graduate studies, also known as the craze of pursuing graduate studies. However,the increasing craze of pursuing graduate studies has also caused many problemsin the meanwhile.

近幾年，越來(lái)越多的大學(xué)生追求研究生學(xué)習(xí)，這一現(xiàn)象也叫研究生求學(xué)熱。然而，研究生求學(xué)熱的不斷升溫也已經(jīng)同時(shí)引起了很多問(wèn)題。

On onehand, the crazy of pursuing graduate studies has reflected the students’eagerness of knowledge and the progress of the society. In addition, the crazeof pursuing graduate studies has alleviated employment pressure in a manner.

一方面，研究生求學(xué)熱反應(yīng)了學(xué)生對(duì)知識(shí)的渴望和社會(huì)的進(jìn)步。另外，研究生求學(xué)熱以某種方式緩解了就業(yè)壓力。

But on theother hand, many problems have followed. In the first place, with thedevelopment of the craze of pursuing graduate studies, a lot of colleges and universitieshave carried out the postgraduate education enrollment expansion policy. Thepolicy has some bad impact on the quality of postgraduate education. Moreover,the craze of pursuing graduate studies has increased the difficulty for the graduateemployment. With the increase of the graduate students, the postgraduatediploma has devaluated in some degree and that has caused the graduate studentssuffer more when hunting jobs. Last but not the least, the craze of pursuing ofgraduate studies has great impact on students themselves. For one thing, it hasgreatly increased the pressure from competition between students which has agreat influence on students’ physical and mental health. For another, those whohave a fanatical pursuit for qualification or degree are usually lack of practicalability and have less knowledge than others.

但是，另一方面，很多問(wèn)題也隨之而來(lái)。首先，隨著研究生求學(xué)熱的發(fā)展，很多高校實(shí)施了研究生教育的擴(kuò)招政策。這一政策對(duì)研究生教育產(chǎn)生不良影響。而且，研究生求學(xué)熱增加了畢業(yè)生就業(yè)的困難。隨著畢業(yè)生的增多，研究生文憑在某種程度上已經(jīng)貶值了，致使畢業(yè)生在找工作過(guò)程中承受更多困難。最后但也同樣重要的一點(diǎn)，研究生呢個(gè)求學(xué)熱對(duì)大學(xué)生本身也產(chǎn)生很大影響。一方面，它大大增加了學(xué)生之間的競(jìng)爭(zhēng)壓力，這對(duì)學(xué)生的身體和精神都產(chǎn)生很大的影響。另一方面，那些學(xué)歷或?qū)W位有著狂熱的追求的人常常卻反實(shí)踐能力，并且比其他人懂得更少的知識(shí)。

In a word, thecraze of pursuing graduate studies has been a hot topic on campus. As far as Iam concerned, we should take a critical attitude to treat this phenomenon. 

總之，研究生求學(xué)熱已經(jīng)成為校園的熱題。在我看來(lái)，我們應(yīng)該采取批判的態(tài)度對(duì)待這一現(xiàn)象。
